Ovogodišnji gaming događaj The Game Awards će se održati 9. decembra ove godine u Los Angelesu, a svi zainteresirani već sada mogu ostaviti svoj glas za nominirane u kategoriji najbolje igre godine. Na toj listi nalaze se naslovi Deathloop, It Takes Two, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart i Resident Evil Village.
Što se tiče izdavača, Xbox je zajedno s Bethesdom uspio dobiti čak dvadeset nominacija, dok se sljedeći na redu nalazi Sony Interactive Entertainment sa sveukupno jedanaest nominacija. Capcom i Nintendo su svaki dobili po sedam nominacija, dok su po pet nominacija dobili Annapurna Interactive, Devolver Digital, Riot Games, Sega/Atlus i Ubisoft, navodi Gameperspectives.
